Question
what are the sensors of the blood pressure called? where are they found, and how do they work?

Answer
They are called baroreceptors and are located in the internal carotid sinus and in the aortic arch. Pressure is detected by stretching of the arterial walls and impulses are sent to the medulla.  Feedback mechanisms change cardiac output and vasoconstriction or dilation.
