Question
I heard that not cooking your food well enough can be unhealthy because of the blood, does this also go for the blood in the spleen and liver?

Answer
Hi Sam.  There is no evidence that ingesting blood is harmful.  Eating uncooked meat can be harmful if certain bacteria are present on the surface.  There is a tribe in Africa where the main diet is fresh cow blood and milk.
Incidentally I have never heard of the spleen being eaten.
