Biotech & Biomedical/testing a pain pump implant

Question
I would like to know where I can get a pain pump (also known as a morphine pump) tested for two specific metals after I have it removed. The reliability of the testing facility is very important and could be overseas if necessary. Thank you for your help. Diane

Answer
Are you trying to determine what the metals are in the pump or if the metals leached into you body?
Do you know the manufacturer of the pump? If so, I would contact them directly with your question.
A pump is undoubtedly made of more than 1 material, FYI. What I mean is, probably an alloy of stainless steel and within the casing, other materials.
If you are more specific about what you are trying to find out, perhaps I can give you more ideas.
