Question
hi how would i  write equations showing the action of the organophosphorus insecticide dichlorovos with part of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme's active site
thankyou for your time

Answer
Hi, Mariam,

Dichlorovos interacts with the serine residue in the active site of acetylcholinesterase at the -OH group. It is a two step process (first one relatively easily reversible, second one not). Base your equation on the serine structure (attached as part of a protein) and work from there.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
