Question
Can you alter a persons blood type at infancy or at any other time?
Is it possible to change all or only a little of the blood?
What are side effects?

Answer
Hi,

I suppose it is theoretically possible to alter the genetic make-up of the blood stem cells and then ALL blood cells would be changed to the new type. If this were done early (at birth or before) then body may accept these as self cells (otherwise you might get an rejection of the "foreign" cells).

Hope this helps.
