I don't know what to make of this

Answer
Hi     Marcia Kimble,

I am not sure whether you consulted the doctor for your own Bipolar Condition or your son's.

As a Nutritional Psychologist I always encourage clients to see a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or Nutritional Psychologist in addition to the psychiatrist. Also clients should familiarize themselves as much as possible about the Nutritional Aspects of Psychotic disorders such as:

Nutritional Aspects of Schizophrenia at:
http://curezone.com/upload/Newsletter/Hypoglycemic_He/HYPONL2001_06.pdf
and go to page 7 of Newsletter.

Treatment for Bipolar Disorder at:
http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/articles/default.htm#B

Some doctors are overworked, and may give you the wrong impression. I suggest that you go back to the doctor and express exactly how you felt at the last meeting.

I hope you find a solution to your problems.
