Question
Is it possible for an unmedicated bipolar person to adhere to boundaries in a relationship, or is this completely out of the question?

Answer
Dear Francesca,

I am not sure what the question is, but I guess that you are talking about the behaviour of a Bipolar person. Yes even Bipolar people have boundaries of behaviour, meaning that some behaviour are just not acceptable, Bipolar or not.

From a nutritional point of view a lot can be done to help people with psychotic disorders including Bipolar Disorder.

He should remain under the supervision of a psychiatrist ands follow the instructions. It is a good idea that person be also seen by a Nutritional Doctor or a Clinical Nutritionist with an interest in "mental illness".
