Question
if you had untreated bipolar disorder would it be possible to commit a  violent act totally out of character and not being able to remember committing this act or accept that you committed this act

Answer
Hi wendy,

Yes it is possible to be violent with Bipolar Disorder, but this can happen with any "mental" illness. Being violent as a Bipolar person is something additional to being Bipolar. They don't have to be if they get proper treatment and it should not be tolerated.
