Question
QUESTION: If you take this medication for a year or two, what happens when you stop
taking it? How will you feel and what frame of mind will you be in?

ANSWER: Hi Jamie,
This is a question that is best asked to your psychiatrist, who should have an intimate knowledge of your circumstances.

I know that bipolar people benefit from going on a hypoglycemic diet.

QUESTION: This medicine was prescribed for seizures. Having read that it is also prescribed
for people who are bipolar, I had some concerns about how it will effect you
mentally when you stop taking it. Do you have an answer for that?

Answer
Drug therapy is beyond my expertise and so I am reluctant to give an answer. You can ask any pharmacist or look up the drug by google searching for it. Withdrawing from drugs should always be under the supervision of a doctor. Why cannot you ask your doctor?
