Question
i was dating this girl for 4 months she said that she loved. she would always telling me that she was fat when she wasn't & saying things like she cut her hair & i was going 2 break up with her & stuff like that. she went home for a month 2 spend time with her family & for the first 3 weeks she would tell me that she loved me & that she missed me. then she stopped talking 2 me as much i asked her if she wanted 2 break up & she would tell me no. then when she was about 2 come back she text me saying that she didn't feel like she could be in a relationship right now. she came over one day & we talked for hours then she told me that she felt that she didn't deserve 2 be in a relationship at all. she told me that she still wanted 2 be friends but almost every time we talk or hang out it seems like all she wants 2 do is hurt me. she also keeps telling me different reasons why she broke up with me. my  question is might she been bipolar

Answer
Tracy:

You did not mention how old you and this girl are.  I am more inclined to believe that what is going on here is a relationship problem rather than a mental health one.  I think it might be better for your mental health to move onto a girl who will treat you better.  It does not appear that this one truly wants to be in a relationship.  It is very possible she just isn't ready to commit at this point in her life.
