Hello Dr. Goldberg, Thankyou first of all for taking the time to read my post. I appreciate it.
Like so many other people who have posted questions to you, I have a strong history with major depression, etc...
However, I have a question that I have not had the nerve to ask my therapist or psychiatrist. I can't help myself from looking at men or women in a sexual way; I think about sex a lot and I wonder about all kinds of crap that makes me feel guilty in the end. I feel like I'm either a pervert or a person who's "dark side" is giving me a hard time. Whatever it is, it seems "bigger" than me.
I won't go into any more detail. I hope that the above offers you enough information to make a suggestion or two.

There is not much I can do with the information you provide but it makes me wonder if you have ever been adequately screened for a disorder in the "bipolar spectrum."  If your therapist and psychiatrist are not willing to consider this possibility, you may want to consult one of the experts listed at:
