Question
I do not seem to be responding to any of the medications I have been put on. I have been on many, many kinds. Why do I not respond to the meds? I am just not sure anymore what the meds are doing for me? I am so frustrated as they say I NEED something. I am either Bipolar or Borderline Personality Disorder depending on who you talk to. Please!

While there is no way I can tell you why none of the medications you have taken have been effective in helping you, there are a number of observations I can make.
While medications can be quite useful in helping people with bipolar disorder, they are of much less help when given to people with personality disorders. So, you might want to get a second opinion regarding your diagnosis.
Even when medications are appropriate for the person being treated, they do not work if administered at too low a dose or for too short a time.
