Dear Dr Ivan, I have a 9 year old son who has been diagnosed overseas with bipolar disorder and ADHD. I will travel to dublin this summer and would a ssecond oppinion. do you know of any child expert who i could contact there?

Hi Darina . . .

Unfortunately I do not know anyone there.

What you might do is do some research in the internet and get the dame of the medical school in Dublin and phone thew secretary to the Chairperson of the Child Psychiatry or Psychiatry department. Find out from the secretary who the local ADHD/Bipolar in kids expert is. That seems to make sense as a possible first step.
