Question
How do you help a child who continuously steals and lies?? I have reserched and it says that is part of him being Bi-Polar. But how do I stop him?

Answer
Amanda:

The child's age has a lot to do with how you treat this.  Could you please let me know what age your child is?

Whatever the age, you need to put into place strict consequences for such behavior.  Do not allow even one incident to go unnoticed.  Children will engage in lying and stealing for many reason--attention, a need for excitement, testing rules--you need to find out what is behind the lying and stealing in order to stop it.
