Bipolar Disorder/no help from meds

Question
Thank you so much for your response. You asked--- How far are you from SF? My daughter lives about 2 hours - she lives in Sacramento. You have a physician in LA on your list which is about 3 hours from me & 7 for my daughter. Her husband says he is afraid she will finally do something. There are many more things that have impacted her during this illness such as her dad being diagnosed with leukemia, 3 families killed (13 people) in Montana plane crash were their friends, etc, etc. She asked for CBT but the psychiatrist said she was too ill. She desperately needs someone that can be encouraging & if meds are necessary finding something that can help without drugging her & taking away her personality.

Answer
Closer than LA is:
Sanford Pepper, M.D.
2266 Union Street
San Francisco, CA 94123
415-931-8199

I know him and I think hew can do an excellent job of evaluating your daughter's illness, response to treatment, and help her plan for a better future.

Best regards . . .

Ivan
