hi there,
i am married women with 7 years old daughter.my husband is bipolar from the age of 16.we got married when he was 24years old.when got married he was the worlds best husband.i was crazy for him and still am.in  our 8years of marrige we had to saperate with each other time  and again due to abroad work.and when he is not with me he is even more crazy for me.but as soon as he is with me he starts to underestimate me.and now we are again together for 8 months and it seems that he hates me.wel recently there were lots of family issues and he was real stressed.but now things are getting worst.he dont care about me or my daughter.he has to do what he wants rightaway and sometime his behaviour makes me leave him forever.he scholds me in front ofhis family members.wel last week he had his thyroid check up and its 13.4 as for normal should be around 7.so i guessed if his medecine is adjust alittle then may be he will be my loving husband back again but its still just a hope.but what i cant believe is,turning my lovely husband into my enemy who cant tolerate my face or voice.pls help

Hi samika,

It is  not easy living with a Bipolar Person as they may go off any time. You have to understand that if you have mood swings from high to low and you don't really understand why, you tend to blame significant relationships for the down-sides, as you expect happiness to come from that relationship. These mood swings are not caused by your relationships, but from an inner biochemical abnormality over which the person has no direct control.

The moods can be controlled by nutritional means and it is important for you to study the connection between nutrition and Bipolar Disorder. Bipolar people benefit from going on a hypoglycemic diet, but it will not cure it. It will improve on that diet. Please study:
