Question
i am a patient with 90% depressive and 10% maniac symptoms...that is... bipolar depression with mixed disorder...would PARNATE be of any help to my depressive symptoms???, since they are bothering me more....as such my depressive symptoms get worse with other antidepressants...

Answer
James . . .

I usually treat patients with symptoms such as those you describe with a combination of lamotrigine and lithium. If that combination does not work, I usually go on to the Parnate + lithium combination.
