Question
Dear Sir , Greatly indebted to you for this....I have tried everything including TMS,ECT and they are harming me more than any good..I am Mixed Bipolar with severe depressive symptoms for last 9 months...Please clarify:

1)Would any psycological methods like Forced work halp me? or will they make me worse?

2) Can you suggest any psycological methods...like last year,i felt stressed at a freinds party and next day i felt some improvement.

3) Suppose a patient with severe MIXED bipolar depression is not given any treatment....will the depression go away after 3 years or 5 years??

I have seen a fee individuals with mixed bipolar states who improved with Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT). With no treatment recovery in 3-5 years is possible but less likely than than with CBT.
