Bipolar Disorder/bipolar grandson

Question
My grandson is 11 years old and is bipolar, he also has anger management issues and adhd.  Last year he caused problems at school and the schools response was to send him home.  This year he is enrolled in a different school in a different state.  He refuses to go and I don't have the strength to fight with him as he is stronger than I am.  He uses profanity and calls me names when I try to discipline him.  He is an 11 year old who obeys no rules and does not care if he is punished (taking away something he likes).  He hits his younger sister and I am not sure that he wouldn't hit me.  He takes abilify and has since May.  He is supposed to be in fifth grade but he is academically far behind his sister who is in the fourth grade.

Answer
Hello Vicki:

I'm not sure I see what your question(s) are, but I didn't want to just reject this.  Could you please be a bit more specific as to what the question is?  Are you looking for the next step in getting help?  Asking what options are out there? Or is it something else, regarding medicine, placement, or whatever?  I will be more than glad to help if I can get a better understanding as to what you are seeking.
         Thank you,
