I would like to know if homeschooling is a good idea or not He has been kicked out of school all year this is his third school and is only in the third grade
Homeschooling is often the best choice for a bipolar child. You can work around his moods and he doesn't have a lot of distractions and the stress to fit into a mold he reallly can't fit into. Many bipolar children truly blossom with homeschooling.

I am the daughter of a bipolar/schizophrenic parent, am bipolar myself and am raising a bipolar child. I have a background in Psychology from Gannon University, have run several parenting classes for those parenting bipolar children and have had extensive experience with medications, the school system, homeschooling a special needs child, dealing with counselors, doctors and other professionals in the mental health field.
