I hope you can help me. See I have this friend how is bipolar 1 and he is not taking his meds. (Stop a year ago) anyways I was wondering how do I tell him that he needs to take meds. and get help with out setting him off! Please help me!! Thank you

Hi Juanita,

That's difficult indeed. You always need to co-operation of the person to have proper treatment.

I suggest you discuss this with his doctor.

There are nutritional ways that can help people with bipolar disorder. Many Bipolar people benefit from going on a  hypoglycemic diet, but his will not necessarily cure it.
