i have a boyfriend that his father has schizophrenia, Can my boyfriend get that from his father. also i have another question can schizophrenic person fall in love or be in love. Also can a schizophrenic person cheat and be unfaithful and be nymphos.

Surviving Schizophrenia : A Manual for Families, Patients, and Providers by E. Fuller Torrey (Paperback - April 1, 2006)
It will answer many/most of your questions.
All mental illnesses affect a persons moods, thoughts, and behavior, so Yes, a person not in his right mind could be expected to behave differently from someone who had no mental illness. The mentally ill have brain chemistry problems that cause these changes.

I can answers questions from family members of adult patients with serious mental illnesses. I am most familiar with bipolar disorder [manic-depression] and schizophrenia. I use principles of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill to provide clinical info, emotional support, and practical suggestions, including finances/insurance.
