I have had Bipolar since age 17, now 56. In my late 40s, I fought against taking Seroquel because it totally "knocked" me out. When I could not sleep one night, I started taking 1/4 to 1/2 half a tablet of 200 mg. tabs. I felt great for months. When I started working out to try and lose weight, I toned but could not lose the weight. I read about adverse affects, especially regarding diabetes which runs in my family. I asked my doctor, he took me off Seroquel, and put me on Ambien. I have not had a good night's sleep since off Seroquel. I am seriously considering taking it tonight. Ambien does not work for me. I am not one to become addicted to anything, as I took Xanax for years to sleep, but I do believe I have become addicted to Seroquel.

OH my god, hell yeah it's addictive. It feels just like heroine. I was on this for 5+ years, tried to get off it, I ended up doing illegal drugs to wean off it. Man that stuff is great though. You can buy it from drug dealers nowadays, people sniff it, and they mix it with their drinks.
