Question
Hello my name is Steven.I am 22 years old.i live in a recovery house in Allentown,Pa.Ive been clean almost 8 months now.I am Bi-Polar and since i have been out of the halfway house about 4 months ago, I have been unmedicated.I was receiving SSI which was covering my medical.I got cut off of SSI.Ever since i've been off meds ive had very very low points where i wanna die and life feels to painful to bear.I find myself in the fetal position crying alot.I need meds but i have no health insurance.Im doing this all on my own.Im not the most responsible person in the world especially when im not on meds.I went to welfare office and applied for medical and they gave me like all this shit to do.I don't have a vehicle, and im not from this area.I don't know i just am having a really really difficult time and my housemates are most likely going to give me the boot if i don't get on meds soon.Do you have any idea what i can do for a quick way to get covered and get the ball rolling on getting medicated.

Answer
Hi STEVEN,

This is a most difficult situation to be in. I wonder in what country you live. Don't they have any health services? Are you living in the US, which is well known for its lack of medical services.

I don't know whether you are Bipolar or whether you have been correctly diagnosed.

I am a Nutritional Psychologists and try to help people with nutrition to treat their illnesses, whether general health or mental health.

If you are bipolar it helps to be on a hypoglycemic diet. If you are recovering from drugs it should be realized that withdrawing is only the first step. You need to treat the underlying metabolic disorder that got you to resort to drugs as self-medication.

By reading a lot of artilces atr our web site and on the internet itself you can do a lot helping yourself.
