Question
I've been hearing voices in my head and talking to people who I think are real for about the past six months. I didn't realize it until it was pointed out to me by a friend. I've had problems with suicide since I was 12, I'm 17 now and I can't talk to my parents about it and ask them to let me see a psychologist because I don't want them to worry or feel that anything is their fault.  I don't know what to do. I don't even know what I have. From what I've read is sounds like bipolar disorder. Any advice you could give me is better than nothing.

Answer
Dear Joana,

I think the best you can do is discuss this with your doctor. I am sure he/she will be able to help you with this.
