Photo taken today 1-17-08 in my garden in San Francisco.  I have more photos if necessary

Sorry, but I am not familiar with California birds. I went through my handbook of US birds and could not find it. Was it cold when you took the picture? Birds will puff up then. I suggest that you go to a library and look up California birds. Good luck! Bluebird bob.
