Question
My sister found a robin egg in a yard, she said it was on the ground and that the other eggs in the nest had been destroyed how can i A- tell if its alive B- help it hatch if it is and C-feed it, thanks,

Answer
This is almost impossible to do. Even raising babies after they are nearly grown is very difficult, although baby Robins will eat worms. The only solution with an egg is to put it with another clutch of eggs that are of the same age. I would destroy the egg. The mother will lay another clutch. Bluebird Bob.
