Question
HELP!!! i found a pigeon egg and i picked it up! i researched and found out that the mom will kill it if human scent is on it. so i wrapped it in a slightly damp paper towel and am holding it for warmth! i don't know what else to do.. i cant let it die!!!!!

Answer
It is not true that the mom will kill it if human scent is on it. That is a myth.
If you found it on the ground it may or may not be any good. Contact your local nature center, wildlife rehabilitation center or wildlife official for advice. It is too hard to hatch and egg and raise a young bird if you are not experienced.
