Question
Hi
I rescued a fledgling about 4 weeks ago and now he will not leave home. I have him in a huge cage and he has free flight in the lounge all day and evening. He is very tame and sleeps on the sofa when tired. We have tried releasing him but he came back twice.
I need to know if he will be happy with us or will the urge to find his own kind overcome him

Answer
I have never heard of that name. Please buy a bird field guide or go to the library to get the correct name. It is usually a mistake to adopt a wild creature as they rarely survive when released. Time will tell if it prefers you to the wild. Put the cage outside and leave it open and see what happens. Bluebird Bob.
