Question
2 doves fell out of the nest in the last wind storm one is gone the other is ok but needs to eat what should i feed it no sight of parents thinking cat got them lots of feathers on the ground

Answer
Raising a baby bird is very difficult, and if it is a very young Mourning Dove it needs crop milk which the parents produce. It would be unususl for a predator to have gotten both parents. I would put the bird in a basket near where the nest was and hope that one parent will feed it. It is really cruel to feed a baby bird, as if you are successful it will bond to you and will never be able to go back to the wild.
