Birding/Sparrows

Question
I just wanted to let you know if you live in the Oklahoma area and are wanting to get rid of the sparrow nest, please do not kill the fledglings, I will gladly take them, I have rescued birds before and would keep them indoors as a pet, not release them to harm other birds.  I happen to like their personalities.

Answer
If you are talking about house sparrows, they are deadly alien killers that harass and kill 70 species of our native birds. A famous ornithologist said " The kingdom of birds is divided in two, birds and house sparrows. House sparrows are not really birds, they are little beasts" No knowledgable birder will let them live, as we open bird houses to find adult and baby birds killed by them.
