Question
Ihave a robins nest that I watched get built, lay there eggs, hatched and parents feeding them, they are about 2-3 weeks hatched and have some feathers and can chirp lightly. Yesterday I heard a lot off comotion and looked out to see a big black crow raid the nest. Ifound one baby on the ground and put him back, the parents did return to care for the two. This morning again and now there is one which Ifound again on the ground and replaced. She did jump out shortly there after and I again put her back. The mother was around but did not go back while I was there. How can I stop this crow ? Should I try to move the nest ?

Answer
Please just leave everything alone. The babies are ready to leave the nest, so do not put them back. If you move the nest the parents might abandon it. The parents will try to protect the babies against the crow. Your interference will not help things and may even make things worse. Thanks for your concern.
