Birding/Bluebird's In Winter in New England?

Hi Bob,We live in Western MA (Southwick)and about 2 weeks ago we noticed 3 Bluebirds flying tree to tree in the woods during a walk and thought that was strange seeing we usually rarely see Bluebirds in the summer.This morning 1/16 noticed 3 Bluebirds flying against the snow cover in the woods in our backyard eating berries from the bushes.Is this unusual,we thought so? Thank You for your time,Paula
