Birding/Rehabbing a robin

Question
A robin just hit our large window in the living room.  he is still breathing, but was just spitting up seeds.  We put him in a fish tank with a hood over it and brought him inside to keep him warm and get him out of the snow.  Is there anything we can do further to help this little guy? Why was he regurgitating seeds?

Answer
If he is awake and able to fly, let him go immediately. If he is injured, contact a bird rehabilitation center for help. Birds regurgitate seeds for a variety of reasons - he was probably just disoriented. But if he seems at all healthy, let him go quickly.
