| Comment | Thank you for your answer. While it is nesting season you confirmed my thoughts. It was fun watching the evasive maneuvers of these birds. Never occurred to me before this that birds actually think. I have seen this type of behavior between an Eagle and an Osprey where the Osprey had a fish and the Eagle chased and chased the Osprey and finally gave up but nothing like the Mockingbird display. I will put your comments to Audubon International as part of our follow-up to bird nesting program. Again, thanks a heap! Dianne | ||
