Birding/Mockingbird behavior - Aggressive

Question
Has anyone ever witnessed three mockingbirds chasing one mockingbird?  For 20-30 minutes these 3 birds were after 1. My husband and I witnessed evasive behavior, chase, resting only by the (3) 1 at a time and in the end the 3 knocked the one to the ground ruffled feathers and then all left... amazing behavior...it is nesting time in Florida but why the 3 on the 1...

Answer
I suspect because the three were males and the one was a female. Or they could all be males vying for territory. Or it could be that they were all juveniles just being juveniles. They are aggressive birds and it is not unusual to see several of them do something like this.
