Birding/nest in my fern

Question
I have a hanging fern on my front porch and a little bird has made a nest in it. I believe the bird is a house wren, but the eggs are light blue. Also, there is a cowbird egg in the nest that I want to get out, but I know they are native and I don't think I can legally. Can you help me?

Answer
Wren's eggs are not blue. Watch to see what kind of a bird it is. Most of the Wildlifs Departments say that Cowbirds have "slippery" eggs. Take it out to examine it and you might accidentally drop it.
