Question
I have a Bluebird box that is occupied several times a season w/babies.My babies in there now are about 2 1/2 weeks old. I see the parent birds carring something white from the nest...what is this?
These are fecal sacks which the parents carry away to keep the nest clean. Toward the end of the cycle the waste often gets ahead of them, but early on this is what they do.
