Question
we found a robin fledgling in our backyard and we read on a website it was important to keep  them where they were found. However, we have a big broblem, a barn cat who has been known to attack and kill small birds.I am an animal lover and i would hate to see this bird die, what should i do?

Answer
That's correct; best thing to do is leave the bird alone and do what you can to control the barn cat. If you try to move the baby robin and/or raise it yourself, it will probably not make it. Last resort - let nature take its course. I share your concern, but aside from controlling the cat there is not much you can or should do.
