Birding/robin nesting

Question
I have some robins "taking over" my deck. I am assuming that they are thinking of building their nest there but it is NOT a good area for them. We have 2 doors that open up to the deck and we use both, coming and going at any given time...more so now that the good weather is finally here. How can I stop them from coming and maybe even assist them just out back a bit for their nest?? Help! I want to stop them before they start work!
Thanks!

Answer
Well, the only practical way is to not alter your activities, so they´ll always feel harassed on the deck. Also, if you notice they start building a nest, tear it down. They'll probably keep at it for 2 o 3 more days before giving up and going somewhere else.
