Question I was told that if you cover the eye in the feathers you can control Peacocks from mating. If this is true can you give me some information on this. If not true is there a way to control the population of the Peacocks and if so how, without harming them.
Answer I don't know who told you covering the eye in the feathers of the peacock can stop mating, but it is absolutely not true.
Since I don't know the situation the peacocks are in, I can't tell you how to control the population. I presume you are in the US, rather than India where they are native. Since they are exotic birds in the US, just call your county or state animal control if they are wild and you think they are a pest and let them take care of them.
