Birding/Spraddle Leg

Question
I just found a baby bird lying on the sidewalk and it has I guess what is called "spraddle leg" because the right leg is all bent upward..is there some way I can fix it?

Answer
I have never heard of "spraddle leg". There are two likely possibilities for this. Either the leg is broken or deformed because of a lack of vitamin D when it was developing. Without professional help (veterinarian), there is probably not much you can do. Contact your local wildlife rehab center for advice as well. Thanks for your concern.
