Question
hello my friends and i enjoy the outdoors hillwalking etc and often see various species of birds large and small so i want to invest in a good set of small binoculars for identification and just the sheer joy of it and was wondering if you could advise on this say a price range between 100 - 250pounds like everything else theres just so much to choose from, cheers.

Answer
I am not an expert on optics, but I have a full size 10X50 and a pocket size 10X25 and I have been happy with them both. I would suggest going to a good optics department and trying some out to see what you are comfortable with. Be sure to have them let you look up into a tree with them. If you are near a Bass Pro Shop they do an excellent job.
