Question
this is a finch or sparrow type bird - but with a bright orange tail? Your input will be appreciated?
)
Knowing where you live would be helpful. But that looks to me like a House Finch. The tail just appears orange because of the way the light is hitting it.
I could be wrong though. Let me know where you live (approximately) and I'll reassess.
