can you ever feed them it
if so when in there life
how old do they have to be
if not why not
how would a mother make the worms safe.
thanks rodger youre my last hope.

ANSWER: Did you e-mail me before, because someone did about a baby robin. Do you mean newly hatched (no k in newly )? And in their (not there) life, do you mean how old do they have to be to eat earthworms?
If no, why not, what?
You need to contact a wildlife rehab center or vet or wildlife official because unless you have the experience, and you apparently do not, it is VERY difficult to raise a baby bird. Over 90% of baby birds die when they are raised by humans, so please get some assistance. Thanks for your concern.

Answer

Worms might be ok - the mother does not do anything to make them safe, but worms are not a complete food at any time of their life.

I again emphasize --- You need to contact a wildlife rehab center or vet or wildlife official because unless you have the experience, and you apparently do not, it is VERY difficult to raise a baby bird.
