Question
hello please find a anser as quickly as possible because i have found a turned sparrow nest on the ground with egges in it i estimate there about 12 days old because it is the 12 day since the first egg was layed as i can see out my window. do you have any tips for me because i have all 3 eggs on a heating pad.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TURN THE EGGS
WHEN THEY HATCH HOW DO I CARE FOR THEM
I FOUND THIS PROBABLY ABOUT A HALF HOUR AGO

PLEASE FIND OUT HOW TO HATCH THEM AND RAISE THEM ONCE THEY HATCH.

Answer
Well first of all, it is illegal to keep or remove sparrow eggs, regardless of their condition. It's highly unlikely that the eggs you're in possession of are even viable. But if you're a normal person, you're probably not going to heed any of that advice anyway. So here are some links regarding the incubation of wild bird eggs. The second one actually contains rather coherent step by step instructions:

Expertise

I can answer questions about bird identification (by sight or sound), behavior, distribution, population, conservation, mating, nesting, fledging and feeding. I do have some practical knowledge about foreign species, but identification skills are limited in that arena. Bear in mind that as much as I know, it's possible that at least some of you will ask a question that I am unable to answer. At which point I would direct you to wherever or whomever I thought could provide you with that information.

Experience

I have 15 years birding experience in Southern California.

Audubon Society

Education/Credentials
My education is in art and photography -but I have a substantial portfolio of nature related work.
