Question
Found an injured hawk - broken wing. Where in East Texas can we take it? Have not located any bird sanctuaries in this area. It is eating, but we are afraid to let it go because it can't fly yet.

Answer
I don't know where exactly you are but here's the website for an East Texas Wildlife Rehab Center http://www.arcforwildlife.com/
If the hawk has a broken wing, it will never heal by itself. It needs veterinary care. Try the rehab center first. Good luck and thanks for your concern.
