Birding/injured male cardinal

Question
I found an injured Cardinal. I am not sure exactly what his injury is, but he will not fly away so I assume he has a broken wing.  I do not know where to take him.  Do you know of a place near the Hattiesburg MS area that can care for him.  I have no money so I need a place that will not charge me.  He is currently in a box with a lid and some bird seed and water and a towel.  I can not tell if he has eaten anything but he is much more fussy now than he was when we found him 2 hours ago.  What should I do?

Answer
Here's a website that lists all the licensed wildlife rehabbers in Mississippi. If none are near you, call one. None of them charge. Meanwhile, leave the bird outside in the box with no lid. He may recover and fly away if he does not have a broken wing.
