Question
about 2 days ago i found a Robbins bird egg and i did not see any nest around it so i brought it in side and rite now it is in a cardboard box with the 100 degrees with some dry wash clothes and toilet paper and i am turning it every 60 min. how do i know there is a bird in it? it feels heavy.

Answer
How do you know if it is fertile? You really can't tell. Unless the temperature is consistently 100 degrees with no variation, it probably won't hatch. It may not be any good anyway since you found it on the ground. You might contact your local wildlife rehab center for advice.
