Birding/No Bluebirds

I have had bluebird boxes here in southern Indiana for more than 20 years and for the first time we have had no bluebirds this year!  Do you know what has happened to them and is this happening in other places?

We have had reports from north of you in Canada of this, but not from your area. It has generally been a good year. I will ask our list serve group of some 200 Bluebirders, many who live in the lake states about this and will let you know. Please send your email address to me at Also if you don't have my free Bluebird book please send me your mailing address. Bob Walshaw.
