Question
I live in Kentucky and we feed about 20 hummingbirds. What a job keeping the feeders full but what an enjoyment. My qestion is....when will they be migrating south?

Answer
I'm sorry, but I am not familiarized with hummingbird migration in North America. The only thing I CAN tell you is that the species you are watching is very surely the ruby-throated hummingbird, which is the only hummer east of the Mississipi. I've read about birds waiting until November in lesser latitudes, but I do not know what the average for Kentucky is.
